DISTRIBUTION OF CU IN SURFACE SEDIMENTS OF THE BOHAI SEA AND ITS INFLUENCE FACTORS

Copper is an element widely distributed in the nature. It's also widely used in modern industry, which leads to the increase in Cu levels in various environments and poses great risks to the environment quality. In this paper, the Cu distribution pattern in sediments of the Bohai Sea is discussed with the support of the distribution maps of Cu in the surface sediments during the 1980's and 2000's. Additionally, the relationships between the distribution pattern and terrestrial inputs are analyzed.
