北部湾盆地晚中新世以来沉降过程

SUBSIDENCE OF BEIBUWAN BASIN SINCE LATE MIOCENE

  • 摘要: 根据近年在北部湾盆地内采集的3 000 km高分辨率多道地震剖面数据,对研究区的主要沉积界面和地层层序进行了解释和划分,得到了3套主要地层的厚度图,通过对主要地层厚度图的比较分析,发现中新世晚期-上新世-更新世-全新世以来,盆地内沉积中心经历了从涠西南凹陷-海中凹陷-海头北凹陷的迁移过程,从而揭示了北部湾盆地内的不均匀沉降,且其相对快速沉降区域经历了大致从北往南的迁移。

     

    Abstract: Based on the 3000km of high resolution multichannel seismic profile data recently acquaired from the Beibuwan Basin, three sets of strata were identified and contoured respectively according to major sedimentary interfaces and stratigraphic sequences. Isopach map of the strata shows that the depositional center of the basin gradually moved from the Weixinan Depression to Haizhong Depression and then to Haitoubei Depression in the period from Late Miocene to Holocene. It suggests an nonununiform subsidence in the Beibuwan basin and the shifting of the major subsidence area from north to south.
